Welcome to Trustfolio ("Service", "Platform"). By accessing or using Trustfolio at trustfolio.dev, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Definitions

"Trustfolio", "we", "us", or "our" refers to the operator of the Trustfolio platform.
"User", "you", or "your" refers to the individual or entity accessing or using the Service.
"Paddle" refers to Paddle.com Market Ltd., our Merchant of Record for payment processing.
"Content" means any testimonials, reviews, text, images, or other materials uploaded to or generated through the Service.

2. Service Description

Trustfolio is an AI-powered testimonial collection and social proof platform. The Service enables you to collect, manage, analyze, and embed customer testimonials on your website.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction.
One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

Trustfolio offers the following plans:

Free — $0/month with limited features.
Pro — $29/month.
Business — $79/month.

All payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as our Merchant of Record. This means Paddle is the entity that sells the subscription to you. Paddle handles all payment processing, invoicing, sales tax, VAT, and compliance with local tax regulations. Your purchase is subject to Paddle's Terms of Service in addition to these Terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. If you do not cancel before the trial expires, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan.

6. Refunds

Our refund policy is detailed on our Refund Policy page. In general, we offer a 14-day refund window from the date of each payment, processed through Paddle.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
Upload or transmit false, misleading, or fabricated testimonials.
Impersonate any person or entity.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems.
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications.
Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without permission.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Trustfolio and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of all Content you upload. By uploading Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

9. User Content & Testimonials

You are solely responsible for the testimonials and content you collect and display using the Service.
You must have proper consent from individuals whose testimonials you collect and publish.
We do not endorse or verify the accuracy of any testimonials displayed through the Service.

10. AI Features

Trustfolio uses artificial intelligence to analyze and process testimonials. AI-generated outputs (such as summaries, sentiment analysis, or suggestions) are provided "as is" and should not be relied upon as professional, legal, or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before use.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRUSTFOLIO AND ITS OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trustfolio, its operator, affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

15. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including but not limited to intellectual property, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
