Refund Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with Trustfolio. This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for paid subscriptions purchased through our platform.
1. Merchant of Record
All payments for Trustfolio are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd. ("Paddle"), which acts as our Merchant of Record. This means Paddle is the seller of record for your purchase and handles all payment processing, invoicing, sales tax, VAT, and related compliance. Refunds are issued by Paddle and will appear on your statement as a credit from Paddle.
2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with the Service for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of each payment date.
- The 14-day period begins on the date each payment is charged.
- This applies to both initial payments and renewal payments.
- No questions asked — simply contact us within the refund window.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, you can:
- Email us at support@trustfolio.dev with the subject line "Refund Request" and include your account email address.
- Contact Paddle directly through the receipt email you received at the time of purchase. Each Paddle receipt contains a link to manage your subscription and request a refund.
We aim to process all refund requests within 3–5 business days. Once approved, the refund will be issued by Paddle and may take an additional 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your payment method and financial institution.
4. What Happens After a Refund
- Your subscription will be cancelled immediately upon refund approval.
- Your account will be downgraded to the Free plan. You will not lose access to your data, but premium features will no longer be available.
- Any embed widgets using premium features will fall back to Free plan limitations.
5. Refunds After 14 Days
Refund requests made after the 14-day window are handled on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. We may offer a full or partial refund, or a credit toward future service, depending on the circumstances. Situations that may qualify include:
- Extended service outages caused by us.
- Billing errors or duplicate charges.
- Other exceptional circumstances where refusing a refund would be unreasonable.
6. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are generally not available in the following cases:
- Requests made more than 14 days after payment without qualifying circumstances.
- Failure to cancel a subscription before a renewal date (you may still request within 14 days of the renewal charge).
- Violation of our Terms of Service leading to account suspension or termination.
- Price differences between promotional offers and regular pricing.
7. Free Plan
The Free plan is provided at no cost and is therefore not subject to this Refund Policy.
8. Currency & Tax
Refunds are issued in the same currency as the original payment. Taxes (including VAT and sales tax) that were collected by Paddle at the time of purchase will be refunded proportionally. Currency conversion fees charged by your bank or payment provider are outside our control and may not be refundable.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Existing refund requests will be honored under the policy in effect at the time the request was made.
